Leading by example is essential in creating the right culture. Our CEO Mark Metz and President Ted Pappas, along with the rest of the leadership team here at ReluTech, are living proof. It becomes second nature for the rest of our employees to live out our company values of Pay it Forward, Act Like an Owner, Work Hard and Hustle, Be the Customer’s Hero, and Winning Together. Whether it’s having to take care of a sick kid (thanks daycare!) from home or leaving a little early to get to T-ball practice on time, I know my co-workers and management team have my back whenever I need it. These little things add up and I think are a direct reflection of a high-performing team and very satisfied employees.

Working at ReluTech near an amazing city such as Atlanta is unbeatable as there are many options for fun family activities:

Family Activities

Georgia Aquarium – the largest Aquarium in the world and the only place outside of Asia that you can find Whale Sharks. Make sure to sit in the front rows of the dolphin show to get the full experience and getting up close and personal with the penguins is always a family favorite.

World of Coke – where else can you find over 100 variations of different Coke products that exist from around the world? Sugar high aside, it’s a great educational experience for the whole family. To get the most out of your day, opt for the private VIP Experience however they still won’t share the secret formula.

Atlanta United / Falcons Game – The campaign to defend the MLS Cup is underway for the United. Most soccer games run just under two hours so it doesn’t have to be an all-day event. Both United and Falcons play at Mercedes Benz Stadium with the unbeatable family-friendly concession prices: $1.50 hot dog, $2.50 Chips & Salsa, $4.50 Ice Cream Waffle Cone.

Six Flags / White Water – One of the best theme parks in the Southeast sits just outside of the perimeter. It’s sister park White Water is the perfect place to cool off during a hot summer day. It’s unique setting in a sprawling forest makes it seem much larger than it really is.

Sweetwater Creek State Park– Right down the road from Six Flags is one of my favorite parks in the area. It offerings include intense trail running, historic mill ruins for the kiddos to check out and your dog will love making new friends running around in Sweetwater Creek.

East Palisades Trail– located right inside the northwest corner of the perimeter, this is one of the closer hikes to the center of the city. Hike down to the Hooch and you are sure to find some kayakers navigating the whitewater. This hike also has some great scenic views of the city. Hike this in the morning and catch a Braves game in the afternoon for a full day of Atlanta fun.

Vickery Creek in Roswell – a few minutes away from Downtown Roswell lies Vickery Creek, a network of trails that surround the historic Roswell Mill. It’s great for a hot summer day as most of the trails are heavily shaded and the creek runs into a spillway waterfall. Many good options to eat and drink in nearby Downtown Roswell.
